Vector artwork is best. For images, 100–150 DPI at final size is usually enough for a banner viewed from a few metres away. Send CMYK files and we check resolution, colour and dimensions before anything prints.

Vinyl or fabric banner: which is better?

Choose PVC vinyl for outdoor banners. It is waterproof, tough and cheaper per square metre. Choose fabric for indoor events, exhibitions and anything that is folded, transported and reused, because fabric does not crease, glare under lights or crack at the folds the way vinyl can.

For windy outdoor locations such as building facades and fences, mesh vinyl lets air pass through and reduces the load on the fixings.

How big can a banner be?

We print up to 3.2m wide in one piece. Banners wider than that are printed in panels and joined, and length is limited only by the roll, so long horizontal banners are straightforward.

What affects the price of a banner?

Four things drive banner cost: size in square metres, material (vinyl, mesh or fabric), finishing (hems, eyelets, pole pockets, lamination) and whether we install it. Quantity matters too, because setup cost is shared across a run. Ask us for an itemised quote so you can see which of these is driving your total.
