What is soft signage?
Soft signage is any sign printed on fabric instead of rigid board or vinyl. The fabric is stretched into an aluminium tension frame or hung from rails, giving a seamless, matte graphic that looks premium and does not reflect light.
Why print fabric with latex?
Latex ink is water-based and cured by heat, so it bonds to textile without harsh solvents and leaves the fabric flexible. That makes it suitable for indoor spaces such as retail stores and offices, and it means the print does not crack when the fabric is folded.
Fabric vs vinyl signage
Fabric costs more per square metre than vinyl, but it is lighter to ship, faster to install, reusable, and looks better on camera. Vinyl stays the better choice outdoors and for one-off, short-term signage.

- Latex-printed fabric can be cleaned, depending on the textile used. Tell us how the piece will be used and we will choose a washable fabric where it matters.
- Is soft signage suitable for outdoor use?
- It is mainly for indoor use. For outdoor signage we usually recommend vinyl or mesh.
- Do you supply tension frames?
